Intriguing! India is definitely intriguing! From the moment I stepped off the plane I was intrigued and it just kept getting better. From the squatty potties, to the dogs and cows roaming the streets, to the women in beautiful eye catching saris, to the mysterious head bobble. The culture is simply intriguing, just waiting to be explored!
Nasty! What you say? I shouldn’t be saying that a word that describes India is nasty thats what you’re thinking right?? Well I’m sorry but there really are somethings in India that are nasty! Such as stepping in a bunch of crap as you walk down the garbage littered street. And just the dirt and filth that you are sure to find just about anywhere you go. But hey, it goes with the culture so we deal with it and make the best of it.
Delicious! This describes the food. Ahh the wonderful food! So many different flavors! Dal, rice, aloo, muter, roti, and of course the chai, and many, many others! (The spelling of the these foods may not necessarily be correct.)
Idiosyncratic! Yes I did just pull that word out of my vocabulary! It means unique. It’s true different parts of India are all unique from each other! And I’ve only been two different places but the difference is definitely noticeable. Change in how people dress, and the climate and even the food.
Amazing! India is just a hard place to describe. It’s simply wonderful! My Father is so good to me and I’m just drinking up everything He has to offer. He is filling me with His love for this place and for the people! I know He is going to do amazing things here.
