five days before Christmas this past year, i decided to get a tattoo. it’s a picture of the Jeezus fish with the phrase “Jeremiah 29:11” under it…it’s on my right foot. since i’ve been here, i’ve had 5 opportunities to tell people (mainly children) what my tattoo actually means. it’s a GREAT conversation starter!!! it allows me an opening to share about MY God and also ask the people about their gods and their religion. i’ve talked about temples, Jeezus, bindis, the demon possessed man, friendship, love, and SO much more…all because of my tattoo! here, feet are considered to be the dirtiest part of the body and are “untouchable”, yet i’ve had children bend down and touch my foot because of the fish on it! thanks to my earthly daddy for allowing me to get my tattoo….because of it, doors are being opened, seeds are being planted, and HIS love is being shared!!!
