Meet the Kids: The Very Late Week 4

It’s been a whirlwind of the past couple of weeks hence why we haven’t posted this blog until now. We hit our mid-point debrief where we got to rest for a couple days and then we were off to Ongole. We are currently in Ongole with a completely different group of kids at SCH. But, we didn’t want to completely forget the kids in Hyderabad, so here are the last 4 featured kids. All of these kids need partial or full sponsorships, so read over these and pray about supporting one of them!

Kenneth

This is Kenneth. Kenneth is an adorable 1 year old that has a birthday in about a month. He’s almost 2! Kenneth has cerebral palsy, which has limited his movement and has him very stiff the majority of the time. He loves his chair that you can normally find him sitting in. And, if you’re lucky, you get to see his lovely smile. Here’s the awesome thing about Kenneth, he only needs $50 a month to be fully sponsored. That’s nothing! Please consider sponsoring this little boy. Visit Kenneth’s page here.

Patrick

Patrick is my baby! From the moment I saw him I loved him! Patrick has a currently unidentified syndrome, which is possibly Moebius Syndrome. Due to this half of his face is paralyzed and he has clubbed feet. Due to his paralysis he has recently gotten a feeding tube to help with nutrition and weight gain as swallowing was difficult. He has the sweetest temperament and is beginning to mimic facial expressions as best he can. He loves to be sang to and smiles. Visit Patrick’s page here.

Loretta

Meet Loretta, she is one of the most active one year olds you will ever meet. She came to SCH in May after she was diagnosed with a chronic illness. In the last month, our team has given her countless nicknames because of her unique personality. She is constantly on the move and loves visiting all of the volunteers. We’re not experts, but we expect that she’ll be walking, well probably running, within the next couple weeks. Our little Loretta is still in need of sponsors. Visit Loretta’s page here.

Connor

Conner is new to our family here at SCH, he arrived in the beginning of this past September. The first week Conner just cried all the time and never smiled or laughed. Over the course of a month he has changed so much, he now is a happy smiling little 2 year old. Currently we are trying to narrow down exactly what Connor is living with, but as of now we know that it is some form of Cerebal Palsy. Visit Conner’s page here.

Visit each of the kids profiles through the link in their bios. Please note that SCH is currently working on updating information on each child, so some things might not be current. If you have any questions about the kids or what we’re doing, feel free to comment below!

Check out www.schindia.com for more information and to read bios for all the kids!

Also note, the children’s real names are not used to protect their identity.

Stay tuned into the blog to see what’s happening in Ongole!
