Meet the kids of SCH! As we mentioned in our last blog, we are going to be featuring 4 kids a week for the next 4 weeks. All of these children are in need of full or partial sponsorships. Read through these short bios to get to know some of the kids we spend our days with.
Caitlynn
Caitlynn is a two month old little princess, and she knows it too! She came to SCH battling malnutrition, but is getting bigger and healthier each and every day! This lil snuggle bug loves to talk and is always very aware of her surroundings. She’s very strong and it won’t be long before she’s up and ready to crawl and play with her other siblings. She’s currently in need of a full sponsorship as she is new to SCH and the world! Visit Caitlynn’s page!
Abigail
Abigail came to SCH in June and has been adjusting to her new home ever since. She suffers from spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and has little to no control over all four of her limbs. However, this doesnt stop Abigail from having fun. With arguably the loudest and most contagious laugh in the group, she enjoys being held and swung. She undergoes physical therapy and now has control over her head and neck and is learning to sit up on her own. Visit Abigail’s page!
Michele
Michele arrived at SCH in February of this year. She came to SCH suffering from malnutrition, a colostomy and hernia. After being here for 7 months she has received the surgeries she needed and is growing stronger everyday. Michele is a little social bug. She enjoys playing with the other kids and loves to be held by anyone that is willing. This precious girl with her sweet smile and personality will steal your heart away with one smile. Clay
My boy. My main man. This is Clay. Clay is a wide-eyed 4-month old that arrived at SCH as a newborn. Clay is like most infants with his schedule consisting of sleeping, eating, pooping, and repeating. However, Clay has urological anomalies. SCH has provided for a necessary emergency vesicostomy, but baby Clay has more surgeries in his future. Visit Clay’s page!
