Worship. Visions.
The act of worship. What does
that even mean? This was the very question that plagued my mind for many years
as I tried and failed to figure out how to worship deeper.
Since starting this adventure
I could feel God reaching for my heart. I worshipped, but I still felt that I
wasn’t giving my whole body. I knew I wanted this “intimacy” with God that
everyone kept talking about.
That complete intimacy came
by the second night of worship. For the first time I was able to lift my arms
and give my all to Him. The feeling was absolutely amazing. To know that my
prayers were answered made me feel free. Free to dance, free to sing, free to
worship.
To confirm everything we were
taught in a session about giving and receiving visions. Not going to lie, at
first I was a little uneasy about the whole thing. But after I stood in the
circle and two different people telling me that God was giving them a vision of
a person dancing in a field, feeling a sense a freedom and seeing music signs I
knew that visions were very real.
However, doubt snuck in as I
realized that I now had to give a vision. We had to give visions to just one
random person. Not willing to give up, I prayed that God would use me and
reveal visions.
The Lord came through! The
visions I saw were exactly what the guy was feeling! Praise God! I was
completely overjoyed and spent the rest of the night smiling and thanking God
for using me.
I’m now ready for more
visions, more opportunities for intimate worship and for God to completely ROCK
MY FAITH.
