I thought I was ready to go to India
God had been doing huge transformations in my heart leading up to this trip. Making me like Himself through sanctification, healing wounds etc. I was ready.
I expected training camp to be awesome; a time where my team and I would bond, and learn about the culture we were walking into. I didn’t expect that God would change me so much in one weekend.
Day two of camp we were challenged to look within at something or things that we were ready to lay down. We each received a log. Yes, a log, to carry around. We wrote our burden on this log, and were told to take a hike around the woods.
While walking God opened my eyes to this burden I’ve been carrying around- the burden of insecurity, the expectation of perfection…………..
