This week has been full of thanksgiving and prayer!
We went on a prayer walk Monday to nearby town where the Red
Light District is and spent the afternoon praying for the city. It was neat as we hiked to the top of a steep
hill overlooking the whole city. As we did, we were able to pray boldly for the
nation of India. For the women. For the children. For the men. For this generation and the next.
I firmly believe that revival is now!
My prayer is that the men of India would rise up and be
mighty men of valor. Men after God’s own
heart. Men that would seek Him first and
throw away their idols. Men that would
be the head of the household and provide for their family and children. Men that would Love their wives as Christ
loves the Church. Men that would value
women for who they are and not for what they can do or give. I pray they would be men that would seek You
with all their heart.
My Prayer for the women of India is that they would find and
know their worth and value is not in what men say about them or how they treat
them. But only in what the Word of God
says who they are. I pray they would
know they are loved without a shadow of doubt.
I pray they would see and realize how much Jesus loves and values them. He
laid down His life for them! I pray they
would be women who have boldness about who are they in Christ and stand up for
the truth.
I pray the children of India would know that despite how
they are treated they are loved. It may
not be from their parents or any relative, but Jesus Christ loves them more
than they will ever know. I pray that even
now, they would know You are real. I
pray that these children will rise up and be men and women that follow You and
trust You. I pray that despite how they are
treated and cared for, they would know you Love them and care for them for than
anything.
I pray that the people of India will see that that having
over 30 million gods to choose from is outrageous. And that their idols are worthless and
dead. Lord, I want them to see and know you are real. I want them to know You Love them and desire
a very real and intimate relationship with each and every one. I pray that their eyes would be opened and
know you are the One True God! That you
are GOD! There is none like You! I pray that this nation, these people, would
turn from their sinful ways and follow you!
I also pray that the locals and nationals who are believers
and Christians would rise up. I pray
they would rise up and be the light to their own nation. I pray they would truly not be ashamed of the
Gospel.
Father, I pray that human trafficking would come to an
end. I pray specifically, that sex
trafficking would become obsolete. I
pray that this sinful, brutal, dark and cruel slave trade would come to an
end. That the eyes of the people
involved would be opened and they would know just how wrong it is. Lord, I pray the women would be set free
physically, spiritually and emotionally.
I pray that the leaders in the sex trade would be set free! They need you Oh Lord!
Oh God, my heart breaks to see, to know, and to hear of all
that goes on here in India. It is so
dark. The people are hurting. They are blinded. Chained.
Bound. Hurt. Broken.
Enslaved. Torn. Dead. They
need life. Healing. Freedom.
Restoration. Peace. Love.
Joy. Forgiveness. They need You! They need Life!
My prayer is that this generation would see, be awakened,
shaken and brought to their knees.
