*Clink.Tap.Clink…Thump*

           The child jumped and hit his metal pan against my window on the bus.*Clink.* And I was out of candy. They *tap* your arm. They hit the window. His metal pan came back up to smack the window again but made it in between the bars and hit my ribcage.*Thump.* A nearby bus conductor chased him off. And off he went. To beg some more. To try and make enough earnings for the day. To “work his side of the street.â€� And go back to what? A home? Or the old creeper he probably works for. And what could possibly be waiting for him...

Love Is A Choice

Ministering Tea Parties

     Because we have not had preschool the last week and a half, we’ve been able to “rest” a little and be home in the early afternoons.  We are still keeping busy believe me, but it has been wonderful to rest up and spend some time here at the house.  What I have cherished the most about this little “break” is building a stronger relationship with the people here at the house and the women along the beach.         One woman in particular that I have grown to love and adore is the woman who cleans...

UPRISING.

This country needs good men. I noticed this almost immediately after starting ministry in India. There are so many different issues that this country is facing. But in my opinion, the root of so many of them is the men. So many men in this country do not work. But their wives do. What do the men do? Take care of their children? No. Tend to household duties? No. Do anything productive? Not usually. They drink. They gamble. They visit brothels. They may have other wives.
