BUS

The weeks seem to become more and more of a blur as they go
by faster and faster.  Every day we are busy.  The days blend together.   And in the back my head there is an
excitement and sadness that sweeps through me when it dawns on me randomly that
I only have four more weeks here in India.

Riding the buses has become more adventurous and sometimes even
dangerous.  When we arrive at one of the
towns we teach preschool at, we have to by standing at the door to get off as
soon as the bus stops.  If you don’t
start getting off right when the bus halts, you are going to get trampled.  No joke.
And when getting off, you have to push and force your way through a sea
of bodies that are all shoving each other and forcing their way onto the
bus.  It’s ridiculous and sometimes a
little bit scary.  I have had to push
people out of my way.  One of the girls
on my team actually fell when she got off one time.  Thank the Lord my leader had her hand to pull
her up the second she hit the ground because she would have got stepped
on.  Buses can be a little bit irritating
at times, but you can’t let it get under your skin.  But only try to enjoy the moment the best you
can.

Despite this annoying bus route we have had to start back up
again because it’s no longer holiday, it’s been well worth it because of
preschool and tuition.  Seeing all the
children after a three week holiday has been a joy!  When entering the preschool that first day
back, the children were glowing and to my surprise not as loud and energetic as
I had expected them to be.  I thought for
sure they would be a crazy mess.  But, I
soon found out they where only tired being the first day back into their old
routine.

This week has been a fabulous one.  Seeing miracle healing with our dear friend
who had TB.  She went in and got her test
results and they were completely negative.
Every last one of them!  Zero
TB.  Not only have we seen God move in
the lives of the people around us but in my life as well.  We serve a Mighty God!!

We were able to ride elephants this weekend and enjoy Gods
creation by going to a spice plantation. Went shopping and bought myself
another saree that I didn’t need.  But oh
well!  I’m going to wear it and love it!

This blog may seem like a bunch of mumble jumble.  sorry
