I think my blog title is probably as random as my week!
So travels went good, it was great to be able to see more parts of India AND the Rahab’s Rope house in Bangalore AND of course the TAJ MAHAL!! We also got to tour the Mysore palace and that was so much fun; we started a dance party, chased down elephants, rode the elephants, took tons of photos, then at the Gardens at night with fountains lit up we took a boat ride, we ate great street food, and sang Disney songs. Great day. And then going to Delhi and Agra was AMAZING! I love Agra, we got to go the the Fort, the Taj Mahal, see camels, monkeys, and all kinds of stuff.
The airport food today was amazing; pizza hut, and some Gingersnap cookie coffee late! Ugh…so good. And now we’re back home in Goa :D!
It was weird feeling like a tourist this week though. It was funny, sitting on the airplane, I thought about how clean it was and how nice it smelled. Everyone was in their nice city clothes, and they would see me just as some tourist wearing Indian clothes, they would never know how many rips and holes are on them or how many beautiful children from the slums have sat on my lap in them. They would never know. But I think our eyes can tell another story. I think they could tell the difference in our eyes, and the way we act, from the time we first landed to when we sat on the plane this week.
Last week is coming to an end soon, turns out though that we do not have a long layover in Mumbai, but a longer one than we thought in New York! So woo! NY at Christmas time!
