Here I’am in a place I once never thought or wanted to be in… How wrong was I to believe that this place was not for me. I’am sharing this experience of being in Calcutta with people I met a week ago and learning to live together as family. This place previously was real to me through TV or documentries, and having the privilege to be here and minister to the orphans here in Calcutta is a joy beyond life itself.
I’am completely out of my element, and so far I find this to be so cleansing, unreal and incredible..I feel blessed to say the least.
To even explain this place in words is near impossible. The life here is so unlike anything I ever imagined.
I love the ministry our team is embarking on, we have 3 beautiful months to impact the children of the Asha House in Calcutta, India!
3 months to shower the people, children and strangers with Gods love, and have them shower us with new friendships, culture, memories and the fruits of the spirit.
I thank God for the friendships I have made, the ones I will make and the family I will come to love here.
Gods work is so inspiring in a world so dark, I only hope that God will use our team as the brightest light for all the people to see here in India.
