Yesterday evening (Wednesday evening), my body decided to reject all food and liquid I tried to put inside it. I didn’t sleep well at all as my stomach writhed in pain continually throughout the night. I woke up this morning without the nausea but with a headache and fever. No spending time with orphans today.

I’m not the only one feeling attacked. My entire team is sensing the spiritual warfare in some way or another. And this is no surprise, as yesterday we began one-on-one ministry with the children at the orphanage – physical therapy and other forms of helping and loving. We are to supposed to continue this ministry at least for the remainder of the week. What a beautiful, tangible way to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Satan knows that what we are doing is powerful. He knows that as God is ever ready to believe the best of every person (1 Corinthians 13:7, Amplified Version), we are ever ready to do the same for these special needs orphans. The kids need Love, and that Love is redemptive and powerful and life-changing. Through God’s grace, my team members and I are seeking to make His Love known in the places that need it most. Of course Satan will come against that.

But he will not win. My Jesus already won the war, and we are just proclaiming and making true that victory in India. I may be feeling under the weather, but that cannot stop me from being under His wing.

So yes, I am sick today. But I will get better in His way and in His timing. Because I have stayed back today, I get to spend as much time with Jesus as I want and lay in my hammock and intercede for my team and for people back home and praise my King for His constant never-ending goodness.

Satan, you can try to crush my body, but you cannot crush my spirit. The One who is in me is greater than you, and we WILL be victorious. Love will be made known. No matter what.
