Hope In His Mission

      The children of the orphanage all come from histories that have been challenging, abusive or unstable. In most cases they have been through unimaginable circumstances that a child should never experience. India is amazing. I am absolutely in love with everything here. The kids at the Asha children’s home are all so precious and so full of joy and eagerness to learn.   Everyday we get to tutor the kids in math and English which can definitely be a struggle at times but I enjoy teaching them. This is the boy I always tutor. His name is Borun. Usually I tutor 3 boys at a time but the other 2 are always different.   Also as a lot of you know it was my birthday on Monday and it was awesome. This Is Really Life?!

SO much has happened in the nine days that we have been here in Kolkata that I hardly know where to begin! I have been learning the basic rules of living here such as the driving rules here are the following: stop and go. And the best way to deal with pedestrians who are in the way is just to run over them.
