I wish this story ended differently but for my sake I’m glad it didn’t

A few days ago we took a trip to a nearby village. We haven’t made too many village trips so far and none of us knew quite what to expect. We were welcomed in by the one christian family in the area and we waited for people to come. When we started our own version of a service a few began to look weary. But one man caught my attention. Resting In the Lord

I see the boys doing things to make us proud all the time. They are little things, like putting our tea cups up when we’re done drinking or making us fancy cards, but all the same they seek our approval and love. It got me thinking about how the Lord feels about all of his children when they seek out opportunities to make Him proud. I adore these kids with everything inside of me and it breaks me just thinking about leaving them after seeing them come so far, but I will never love like God can. Foreigners

When you go on a mission trip to a foreign country, your mind is focused on the people there. The locals. It caught me off-guard when my team met two foreigners here in Calcutta. Chris, from London, and Kara, from Italy. They were traveling together through India. We met them at a school we taught at. They were really genuine people, a bunch of fun. I especially enjoyed getting to know Chris. First off, british accents are awesome, and his humor meshed really well with our own.
