It’s Gonna Be Wild

Having served with AIM last summer to Goa, India, I already had an idea of what training camp would be like. I knew there would be lots of people in small spaces. I knew there would be intense speaking sessions. I knew there would be some crazy people who are on fire for God. What I didn’t know was that I would learn what I’m doing after India. Training camp is usually a place for new freedom and restoration that has never been found. But I have already found that. Yet, God still had something special for me. He always does. You see, I am at such a special place in my heart....

Philippians. Promises. People.

Well, training camp certainly keeps life interesting. Its hard to believe that its almost over, yet, with the anticipation of India, it also seems like it has lasted forever. God has continued to grow and change and sanctify my heart. And what a comfort it is to know that no matter what the new circumstances or the new experiences or the new people or the new whatever, that God is still here. That He hasn’t changed and he hasn’t become something different. The Scripture passage that often comes to mind is Philippians 4:10-13:   “I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now...

The Pre-Adventure

Today is the final day here at training camp! All in all it has been a great week I feel like if I was to come home right now I would be a different person. The Lord has been working on my heart and revealing himself to me in many ways. He has told me that I am a warrior, that he is proud of me for fighting for Him and that he loves me dearly- more than I will ever understand. I am so excited for tomorrow to head out FINALLY and serve the Lord in India. Here is my team’s canvas! h

Ready, Set, GLOW!

So here I am, one day away from take-off. Training camp has been a great “spiritual charge” for the trip. From the “culture simulation” to the “prophetic training”, there has been growth and success in my mind and my heart.      Meeting my team has gone so well I can only praise God at His providence and plan. We seem to have such an incredible, diverse, and effective team dynamic. I cannot wait to get out there on the field with them. I know God has crazy adventures in store for us and we are going to shake...

I’ll See You Someday Once Again, And If Not We’ll Meet Up In Heaven

“So this has really been a beautiful experience and what’s more beautiful is that we are still growing, not just as individuals, but as a group, a team, a family.”(“Singing In The Rainâ€ 9-5-11)                   The airplane took off high into the air. And it was cold outside. She sat there towards the back. Short brown hair, henna covering her hands and feet, she wore her salwar kameez....

A New Chapter In Life

I’m home now!  After a long three days of travel I’m finally home!  The anticipation of being home that was building up inside me has finally been able to be released.  However, it’s not like I had expected it to be.  Actually, I didn’t know what to expect.  It’s weird and I’m not exactly sure how to react. I feel that I’m in a numb stage right now. I shed a tear randomly, but never more than that.  I’m so happy to be home and so excited about the future.  But there seems to be a little piece of me...
